The Breast Cancer Awareness Program is one of Celeste Foundation’s key health initiatives, dedicated to saving lives through education, early detection, and support for women in Bono Region and beyond. Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of death among women in Ghana, yet stigma, lack of awareness, and late diagnosis prevent many women from seeking timely care.
In addition to breast cancer checks, women will also benefit from Cervical cancer education and free screenings, furthering the foundation’s holistic approach to women’s health.
This program works to break the silence around breast cancer and ensure that women have access to knowledge, screenings, and support systems.
